Box Broker has been established due to customer demand and referral business. As customers have contacted others in the market and been disappointed by the grade of container they can access for the price. I sell to commercial operations or the private individual, single or multiple containers.

As a shipping industry executive for more than 26 years I have met many great people and companies around the world. Box Broker is supplying two leaders in manufacture and supply of ISO shipping line quality containers directly to you.

New A-Grade Containers

Box Broker is supplying single trip, one way A-grade containers. These containers are shipped with cargo ex-China to New Zealand. The containers will have a few marks from this first trip through ports and on a ship but otherwise are "freshly" new.

Secondhand Containers

Box Broker also supplies secondhand equipment. You can rest assured with Box Broker secondhand equipment that this is the best you will find. Referred to as B-grade or CW (cargo ready and weather tight). Ask about our CW+ containers - for slightly more, you get a much "fresher" container that is not as old and in better condition again than the standard CW grade.

Box Broker does not and will not deal in lesser grades than CW. There are many ... so be aware!

Shipping Containers can be Repurposed

The trusty new or secondhand shipping container has a great many uses - storage of all kinds, man cave, woman project space at the bottom of the garden, accommodation, office space, kiosk, exhibition space, studio, an additional garage, and more.

Containers for Export

If you are purchasing a container to ship offshore, I can assist with the CSC certificate your chosen shipping line will require to accept the container for export.

Box Broker is not a container yard, truck yard or storage depot.

Delivery

Box Broker does not get involved in the transport. Delivery is quite a specific operation so be aware of this and get a number of quotes as these will vary. All of Box Broker's one-way and used containers are released from South Auckland container depots.

Your container's destination, site access and position on site will influence the cost. Two reasonable options:

Swinglift container delivery is the cheapest and most common. This is where you can swing a container off the side of a truck, so site access is crucial. You can request the container doors face to the rear or front depending which side the swinglift unloads and if the truck can drive in or reverse in.
HiAb is a smaller truck with a HiAb (small crane to unload). This type of delivery is recommended when access is not easy and movement to position the container. Onsite is required. Depending on the size of the HiAb, the driver will be able to position the container up to 7m from the truck. HiAb costings vary and each delivery is calculated on an hourly rate round trip.
